Recent issues regarding actions in China

One of our recruiting agents in China was reported for criminal issue. We are currently investigating this issue. Once it is confirmed we would stop the contract with such agent

Database problem

We have encountered a database problem locally. Some students' information are lost and cannot be found via our website. Our technical support is fixing this problem now.

Statement

Recently, one of our recruiters in Beijing was reported illegal operating without any valid license. It has made some impact to us and our students in China area. Therefore, we have to make the following statement,

1. Columbia International Institute is registered with Department of State of New York in the year of 2003, and at the meantime we are authorized to offer MBA and DBA courses. We never announce our institute as a part of or affiliated to Columbia University in the City of New York, and we never allowed or indicated our recruiters to do so for any recruiting purpose.

2. The recent issue happened in Beijing, China is an individual case that acted by few individual recruiters. This will not affect other authorized recruiters nor our operation worldwide.
